France and Saudi Arabia will lead an important meeting of the United Nations (UN) to be held in New York. In this meeting, an attempt will be made to resume two-state solution between Israel and Palestine.
Just before the meeting, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he would formally recognize Palestine as an independent country in September. Experts say that this decision will further strengthen this conference.
France hopes that in this conference many countries of Europe can also announce recognition of Palestine. The pressure on Britain is also increasing, where more than 200 MPs have demanded the Prime Minister to do so. At present, 142 countries out of 193 have already recognized Palestine. But the ongoing battle in Gaza, expansion of Israeli settlements in West Bank, and land grabbing plans have put the future of Palestinian state in danger.
The conference will be attended by Prime Minister of Palestine Mohammad Mustafa and ministers of several countries. The purpose of this meeting will be discussed not only to recognize, but also three more big issues:
Improvement in Palestinian administration
Hamas free arms and remove from politics
Axia
The Arab countries will first demand Hamas to criticize and disproportionate, while Israel and America will not participate in this conference. The human crisis in Gaza during the conference will be the subject of main discussion. Analysts hopes to have a sharp criticism of Israel.
