Scotland Parliament.
London: Not only in India, but also abroad, the number of fundamentalists hating Hindus is increasing. Therefore, the Parliament of Scotland has taken a big step to deal with such anti -Hindu prejudices. A member of the Parliament has appreciated the report of the Gandhian institution in Glasgow by presenting a resolution in the House, underlining “prejudice and discrimination” towards Hindus in Scotland. The MP has demanded strictness to deal with people anti -Hindu and Hinduphobia in the proposal.
Let us know that Alba Party MP from Edinburgh Eastern, Ash Regan, presented the proposal last week based on the report of ‘Gandhian Peace Society’. The purpose of such proposals is to draw attention to important issues. The ‘Hinduphobia in Scotland’ was presented before the Committee of Scottish Parliament when the Society, which promotes the Gandhian principles of peace, non -violence and harmony, was presented before the Committee of Scottish Parliament. It states, “It highlights the prejudice, discrimination and rising levels of being marginalized by the members of the Hindu community of Scotland.”
Need to remove discrimination against Hindus
The proposal states that there is a need to remove such discrimination against Hindus. The proposal accepts the importance of their research and public participation in raising awareness in diverse communities of Scotland and promoting inter-religious dialogue, social harmony and mutual respect. “The Hinduphobia in Scotland” claims that it is the first intensive study of its kind on the issue in Scotland.
