This was the biggest happy moment for the family of Israeli-American soldier Aidan Alexander, who was released from Hamas’s 19-month captivity in Gaza when he saw Alexander alive.

Alexander’s father on Monday breathed some sigh of relief from Israel’s announcement that some assistance was being sent to Gaza for the first time in two and a half months.
Aidan Alexander said, “This is the first step, so hopefully we will see another ceasefire, the release of more people and the end of this struggle.”He said, “It’s been a long time. No more. You cannot treat pain with more pain. Now just enough, it’s up. ”
He urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “rise above politics to give priority to human life”.
Alexander, who spent a total of 584 days as hostage, told his parents that he was dragged into Gaza and pushed into a tunnel. There he remained alone for several hours and later ten hostages were brought there.
According to Alexander, he was kept underground most of the time and he was often taken to other tunnels along with other hostages. During this time, food was rarely available, daylight was able to see the light of day and it was a dream to breathe in the open air.
Alexander told his parents that initially his hands were tied like other hostages and sometimes the head was covered with thick cloth. He was questioned.
The reason for the first six -foot -long Alexander of the kidnapping was more than 80 kg which is now around 60 kg.
