Dhaka: A disproportionate Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka was killed by a leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. According to the information given by the police, the BNP leader was beaten to death by his rivals in front of his wife. At the time of the incident, BNP leaders were harvesting mustard in the field with their wife. According to reports by Daily Star Bangladesh, the murder of former Vice President of BNP’s Kin Union Unit Mohammad Babul Mian was carried out on Friday afternoon.
‘Attackers also broke both of his eyes’
The report by Daily Star Bangladesh said that Babul Mian and his wife were harvesting mustard near Akshirnagar Housing in Dhamarai Upazila at the time of the incident. Babylon’s wife Yasmin Begum said that the villagers were having a long dispute over a real estate business named Akshirnagar Housing. He alleged, ‘Although my husband was not involved in the case, local criminal officers, Arshad and Miri were threatening both of us for several days. They beat him with sticks and SS pipes, seriously injured he. He also broke both his eyes.
‘Stopped when tried to go to the hospital’
Yasmin said, ‘When I and some local people tried to take them to the hospital, they stopped us. He left from there only after he fainted. Babylon was later taken to Savar Inam Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead. In -charge of Dhamrai police station, Moirul Islam said that the preliminary inquiry has revealed that Babylon was murdered due to a pre -dispute. The official said, ‘Preparations are being made to send the body to the morgue from the hospital and send it to the morgue. Efforts are on to arrest those responsible for the murder.
