America has suffered a major setback this week. Huti rebels have killed at least 7 reaper drones in the United States this week. According to defense officials, three drones were dropped last week, which shows that the tendency of terrorists has increased to target these unmanned aircrafts flying over Yemen.
On the condition of anonymity, officials said that the drone was being used for attack or monitoring, which fell on both water and land.
The US has increased its attacks against huts following an order by US President Donald Trump to launch a new and detailed campaign.
He promised that he would use a ‘tremendous deadly force’ until he does not stop his attacks on the ships in the important sea corridor. Since the new campaign began, the US has carried out more than 750 attacks on huts.
Another defense officer here said that the reason for the destruction of the drone is probably hostile firing, yet these incidents are being investigated.
The official said an increase in US attacks could increase the threat to aircraft, but said that the US will take all possible measures to protect soldiers, equipment and interests in the region.
