Jerusalem: It has been more than 15 months since the war between Israel and Hamas. But peace has not come yet. The Israeli army is continuously bombing different targets in Gaza. Even after the killing of both the chief commanders of Hamas, the terrorists have not yet accepted defeat before the Israeli army. In such a situation, now Israel is going to do something big in Gaza. The Israeli army wants to give Gaza the last chance to avoid catastrophe.

In this regard, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has now indicated progress in the talks taking place in Gaza on ceasefire. He has also approved to send the director of his intelligence agency ‘Mossad’ to the negotiating table for the next phase of talks. So that peace can now be brought in the Israel-Hamas war. So far, this is being considered as Netanyahu’s biggest step towards stopping the Israel-Hamas war. The Prime Minister’s Office informed about this decision on Saturday.

Know where the talks will take place

It is not yet clear when Mossad Director David Barnia will visit Qatar’s capital Doha, where talks are taking place between Israel and the extremist group Hamas. Their presence will mean that high-level Israeli officials will now be involved in the talks, which are needed to sign off on any agreement. In the last 15 months of war, only once has a short-term ceasefire been agreed upon and that too in the initial weeks of the fighting. Since then, several talks were held with the mediation of America, Egypt and Qatar but remained inconclusive. (AP)
