Landslide (File) in China
Beijing: China has trembled from heavy landslide. It is being told that a heartbreaking landslide has occurred on Saturday in Sichuan province of Southwest China. Due to which about 10 houses have been hit by it. 30 people have gone missing in this incident, who are being searched.
In the news released by the country’s government broadcaster ‘CCTV’, it was reported that the Emergency Management Ministry has deployed hundreds of rescuers including firefighters after a landslide in Junallian County, after which two people buried in the debris were taken out alive. Teams are engaged in searching for other people. Efforts are being made to rescue people as soon as possible.
President assured help
In the news released by China’s official news agency ‘Xinhua’, it was reported that President Xi Chinfing has instructed the officials to make every effort to search for people missing and save the people. According to this, Chinese Prime Minister Lee Kiang has asked to investigate and inspect possible geological hazards in the surrounding areas. (AP)
