Lahore: A case has been registered against 150 suspects for spreading propaganda against Pakistan Army on social media and 22 of them have been arrested. Most of the arrested people are associated with the party of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The government committed to take strict action against those spreading misinformation on social media. An official has given information about this on Wednesday.

What is PTI saying?

At least 12 party workers were killed and hundreds were injured in firing on protesters in Islamabad on November 26, according to Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The party also claims that around 105 party workers are missing since then. After the incident, Khan’s supporters started blaming the Pakistani Army for firing on peaceful protesters. The Shehbaz Sharif-led government has denied that protesters were fired upon.
