Washington: Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris is 38 points ahead of her rival and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump among Asian American voters in the US presidential election to be held in November this year. This information has been given in the results of a new survey. This survey was conducted by NORAC at the University of Chicago and its results were released on Tuesday. This is the first survey conducted after US President Joe Biden withdrew his name from the presidential election race in July and Kamala Harris became the candidate.

Harris is ahead of Trump

According to the survey, Kamala Harris (59) is ahead of former President Donald Trump (78) by 38 percentage points among Asian American voters. According to the survey, in the US presidential election, 66 percent of Asian American voters may vote in favor of Kamala Harris while 28 percent may vote in support of Trump. There are also six percent voters who may vote for some other candidate or are undecided.

Harris’ popularity increased

In the Asian American voter survey conducted between April and May this year in the US, 46 percent of Asian American voters were seen supporting President Biden while 31 percent of voters were in support of Trump. At the same time, there were 23 percent voters who were planning to vote for another candidate or were undecided. Harris’s popularity has increased by 18 points among Asian American voters. According to the survey, 62 percent of Asian American voters have a favorable opinion of Harris while 35 percent have an unfavorable opinion about her.
