Indian team reached Myanmar

The first batch of emergency humanitarian aid from India reached Yangon on Saturday to help Myanmar devastated by the earthquake. The Indian team will help in the search and rescue operations of victims in earthquake affected areas here. Along with this, the medical team will treat the injured. Indian Ambassador Abhay Thakur sent the first batch of relief material on 29 March, including personal care, food items, sleeping bags, solar lamps and kitchen utensils.

According to a statement released from the Indian Embassy, ​​India will continuously monitor the natural disaster in Myanmar and then additional assistance will be sent. Meanwhile (MNA) has announced that it will deliver relief materials and medicines to the needy for free.

India sent 15.3 tonnes of relief material

5041 kg relief materials and 37 Chinese relief workers have been sent by China Eastern Airlines to help people affected by earthquake. At the same time, the Indian Air Force aircraft arrived with 15.3 tonnes of relief material from India. MNA has provided the required ground services at Yangon International Airport to make the relief materials from both countries accessible to the people. On behalf of Myanmar National Airlines, it was said “We want to inform you that we will provide free transport of relief materials and medicines in domestic and international flights to people affected by earthquakes.” After the devastation caused by the earthquake, the authorities of the entire Myanmar are providing relief, assistance and supply to the earthquake affected areas of the entire Myanmar.

118 members in Indian contingency

A 118 -member team of elite Shatrujit Brigade Medical Responors led by Lieutenant Colonel Jagneet Gill has reached Myanmar with necessary medical equipment and supply. Airborn Angels Task Force is trained for treatment and surgery in disaster affected areas. The Indian Army will set up a 60-bed medical treatment center to take care of those injured in the disaster. This facility will help the local healthcare system. This will improve emergency medical services, which have been destroyed due to earthquake.

Indian batch reached Myanmar

Chinese Yunnan rescue team reached Myanmar

A powerful earthquake occurred in Myanmar on 28 March. It has killed at least 1000 people. There is havoc all over the country. Meanwhile, the Chinese Embassy announced that the Yunnan Provincial Rescue and Medical Team had reached Myanmar. The 37 -member team arrived at the Yangon International Airport on March 29 and welcomed him at the airport by Ms. Cao Jing, in -charge of the Chinese Embassy in Yangon and Yangon Chief Minister U Soi Thein. It is the first international rescue team to reach within 18 hours of the earthquake. The Chinese team has arrived with a total of 112 sets of emergency relief equipment including life detector, earthquake pre -warning system, portable satellites and drones.

China helped 100 million yuan

At the request of the Government of Myanmar, the Chinese government has decided to provide 100 million yuan in emergency humanitarian aid and will send two relief teams to provide immediate supply such as tents, blankets, emergency medical kits, food and drinking water racks in the affected areas. The first batch will be delivered on 31 March, and further assistance will be provided as per the requirements of Myanmar. The Chinese Embassy said that in accordance with traditional China-Myanmar brother-in-law’s Pukfow friendship and warmth spirit, the relief team will soon go to the relief work to participate in the relief work.
