Washington DC: The US Embassy has issued an important public warning in view of increasing immigration violations of Indian citizens in the United States. The embassy has clarified that stopping more than the visa period in the US is a serious legal offense, which not only poses a risk of deportation, but can also impose permanent restrictions on coming to America in the future.
The embassy said in a message on X, “If you live in the United States for more than your authorized period, you can be deported and a permanent ban on travel to the United States in the future.”
Why is this warning necessary?
