Hamas fighters
Khan Younis: Hamas on Thursday, after handing over the bodies of four hostages in lieu of the release of more than 600 Palestinians imprisoned by Israel, said that he was ready to hold talks on the next phase of the ceasefire in Gaza. This was the final stage of the exchange of prisoners-managers under the ceasefire agreement between the two sides to end at the end of this week. Negotiations on the second phase have not started yet. Under this phase, Hamas has to release dozens of hostages in exchange for the release of prisoners and a permanent ceasefire.
Hamas returned bodies of hostages
An Israeli group representing the families of hostages said that the bodies of all the four hostages assigned early on Thursday have been identified. The forum of hostage and missing families said that the bodies of Ohad Yahlomy, Intzak Elgrat and Shlomo Mantjur have been returned to Israel. The ‘Hosters and Missing Families Forum’ reported that the bodies of Ohad Yahalomi, Intzak Elgrat and Shlomo Mantjur, Sashi Idan have been identified.
Hamas warned
Hamas said in a statement that the only way to ensure the release of the remaining hostages for Israel is to follow the conversation and agreement. The group warned that any attempt to withdraw from the ceasefire would “be more painful for hostages and their families.”
Israel released prisoners
Hamas has confirmed that more than 600 prisoners have been released last night. The people, who were independent of Israeli’s captivity, sat on the knees, showing gratitude after getting off the buses in the city of Khan Younis in Southern Gaza. Relatives and well -wishers welcomed the prisoners in West Bank’s Betunia city. (AP)
