Kinshasa: Incidents of violence in African countries are not stopping. African countries are constantly facing a torrent of deaths. In the latest incident, armed groups have carried out a deadly attack in north-eastern Congo. At least 20 people have been killed in this attack. Many others are also feared to be injured. Local officials said on Tuesday that civilians were targeted in these attacks. After the attack, the gunmen fled from the spot.

Attack in Fatki village
Local administration chief Jean-Marie Makpela said that fighters of the Cooperative for the Diversion of Congo (CODECO) attacked Fataki village in Djugu area and killed at least 20 people. He said that during the attack on Tuesday, houses were set on fire and goods were stolen. At the time of the attack, the villagers were busy with their daily chores. But their houses were set on fire. Then people were killed. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to this incident. (Language)
