Pakistan rejected the remarks made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Jammu and Kashmir in a podcast as ‘misleading and unilateral’.
Let me tell you that Prime Minister Modi said during an interview with American Podcaster Lex Freedman on Sunday, “Pakistan responded to every attempt of peace with enmity and betrayal.”
He hoped that to improve bilateral relations, the top leaders of the neighboring country got goodwill.
Pakistan’s Foreign Office released a statement in response to media questions regarding Modi’s remarks and dismissed his claims. According to the statement, “These comments are misleading and unilaterally.”
The statement said that these comments deliberately ignored the dispute between Jammu and Kashmir, which has been unresolved for the last seven decades, while India had assured the people of the United Nations, Pakistan and Kashmir that the dispute would be resolved, but it has not been resolved so far.
Pakistan has alleged that India is involved in creating problems on Pakistani soil.
