Donald Trump, US President.
Washington: The US federal court has given a big blow to President Donald Trump. A federal judge has made a decision of the Trump administration illegal. The judge said in an important decision on Tuesday that the exile of the migrants sent to South Sudan is illegal and American immigration officials should keep them in their custody. Explain that this decision came at a time when the migrants’ lawyers warned the court that a dozen people could be sent to Africa.
US District Judge Brian E. Murphy ordered an emergency hearing in the case on Wednesday. The lawyers appearing on behalf of the migrants stated in the court documents that 12 people from several countries including Myanmar and Vietnam are feared to be deported, especially South Sudan, especially South Sudan.
Accused of disregarding court order
The lawyers alleged that some migrants were sent to South Sudan during the Trump administration, while such exile in a former judicial order was clearly banned. He said that the immigration officials, despite the order, forcibly sent citizens of countries like Myanmar and Vietnam to South Sudan. The lawyers argue that these exiles have a serious threat to the lives of the migrants and this is directly a violation of the court order, stating that any person should be given full opportunity to speak before exile.
No response from Home Safety Department
The Home Safety Department (DHS) has not yet given any official response to the entire matter. However, after the court order, the matter has once again come into the limelight about the rights of migrants in the US and transparency of exile processes. (AP)
