Netherlands: Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has given a big statement about the ceasefire after the recent struggle between India and Pakistan. He has said that there was a direct talks between India and Pakistan on the firing and stopping military action. No third country meditated in this. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has confirmed that the two countries had interacted directly without any external mediation to stop firing between India and Pakistan. He said these things in an interview with Dutch channel NOS.
Jaishankar clarified that Pakistan had directly contacted India. The ceasefire occurred after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’, which was started on 22 April in vengeance of the Pahalgam terror attack. India says that tension between the two countries has now decreased. But the operation vermilion is still going on. If there is a terrorist attack on India again, we will answer. If the terrorist is in Pakistan, he will kill him there.
Dialogue was done only through military media
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also said that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan took place through direct military communication between the two countries, not through international arbitration. Pakistan had contact on hotline on 10 May
