Netherlands: Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has given a big statement about the ceasefire after the recent struggle between India and Pakistan. He has said that there was a direct talks between India and Pakistan on the firing and stopping military action. No third country meditated in this. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has confirmed that the two countries had interacted directly without any external mediation to stop firing between India and Pakistan. He said these things in an interview with Dutch channel NOS.

Jaishankar clarified that Pakistan had directly contacted India. The ceasefire occurred after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’, which was started on 22 April in vengeance of the Pahalgam terror attack. India says that tension between the two countries has now decreased. But the operation vermilion is still going on. If there is a terrorist attack on India again, we will answer. If the terrorist is in Pakistan, he will kill him there.

Dialogue was done only through military media

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also said that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan took place through direct military communication between the two countries, not through international arbitration. Jaishankar said in an interview to Dutch Broadcaster NOS, “There was a direct conversation between India and Pakistan about firing and stopping military action.” “We had made one thing clear from everyone, who talked to us, not only from America, but everyone, if Pakistan wants to stop firing, we have to tell us. We have to hear this from them, their general will call our general and say this, and that’s what happened.”

Pakistan had contact on hotline on 10 May

On May 10, the call on the hotline by the Pakistani Army indicated that they were ready to end enmity. India also reacted accordingly. Answering a question about military communication, Jaishankar confirmed that the two armies used the current hotline. “Yes, we have a mechanism to talk to each other as a hotline. On May 10, the Pakistani Army sent a message that they were ready to stop firing and we responded accordingly.” He admitted that the US, Gulf countries and other countries expressed concern and talked to both sides, but the final agreement to end enmity was between India and Pakistan.

Operation vermilion released

Underlining India’s approach against terrorism, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that the operation sindoor continues, because if there is a other terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India will answer and if the terrorists are working with Pakistan, they will target them. Jaishankar said that India attacked terrorist bases nominated in the list released by the United Nations. He said that the United Nations Security Council regularly releases a list, which mentions the major terrorists and their residence and where they work.

If the terrorist is in Pakistan, he will kill him there

Jaishankar said, “The operation is going on because there is a clear message in that operation that if the kind of actions we have seen on April 22, if there are such actions, we will be replied, we will attack the terrorists. If the terrorists are in Pakistan, we will kill him where it is. So, there is a message in continuing the operation. They did not have a firing and firing. Is.” The Foreign Minister reminded that 26 tourists were murdered in front of their families in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. He said that the purpose of this attack was to harm tourism, which is the mainstay of Kashmir’s economy and to create religious discord. (ANI)
