Khan Younis (Gaza): Egypt has said that talks between Israel and Hamas regarding the next phase of ceasefire in Gaza have started on Thursday. The first phase of the agreement is to end on Saturday, before the introduction of negotiations between the two sides, the threat to the agreement is currently postponed.

Egyptian government information service said in a statement that Israel, Qatar and US officials have started intensive discussion at the second phase of ceasefire in Cairo. The statement said, “The intermediary is also discussing the ways to increase the supply of human aid in Gaza. ,
These issues will be discussed
The purpose of the second round of talks is to negotiate to end the war, including the return of all the surviving hostages in Gaza, and to recall all Israeli soldiers from the region. In the third phase, there will be a discussion on handing over the bodies of the remaining deceased hostages.
Israel took a big step
According to Israel, 59 hostages are still under the possession of Hamas, out of which 24 may be alive. A few hours before the talks started, an Israeli official said that his country would not call the soldiers back from the strategic corridor located in Gaza. This decision of Israel may lead to challenges in talks. (AP)
