Thousands of people gave final farewell to Iranian military, commanders and scientists killed in Israeli attacks

Thousands of people gathered on the streets of Tehran on Saturday during the final visit of the Revolutionary Guard head and other senior military commanders and nuclear scientists killed during the 12 -day war with Israel.

Final farewell was given to Hussain salute of revolutionary guards, Aamir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the Bellastic Missile Program and other officials in the coffins kept in trucks on the freedom street of the capital Tehran.

Both General Salute and Hajizadeh were killed on 13 June, that is, the first day of the war, when Israel launched a comprehensive military campaign with the aim of destroying Iran’s nuclear program.

Military commanders, scientists and nuclear installations were targeted in this campaign.

According to Iran’s official TV, a total of 60 people were cremated on Saturday, including four women and four children.

Officials closed the government offices to allow government employees to attend the function.
