Moscow: Russia and Uzbekistan are exploring possibilities in Afghanistan for the “Trans-Afghanistan railway” project. Surveys for this are conducting, if everything goes well, the land surrounded by land will provide access to the Indian subcontinent. Deputy Prime Minister Alexi Overchuk said in the 16th International Economic Forum ‘Russia-Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2025’ that the survey conducted for Trans-Afghan Railway will be completed in 2026.
