Beijing: Tributes were paid to Indians killed in the Pahalgam terror attack in the Jammu and Kashmir state of India in Shanghai and Guangzhu province of China. Indian diplomats in China organized several condolences to pay tribute to those killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. These condolences were also attended by members of the migrant Indian community along with officials of the consulate.
He mourned the death of people in the terrorist attack and expressed deep condolences to the victim families. A condolence meeting was held under the leadership of Consideration of Consul General Prateek Mathur at the Indian Consulate General of Shanghai. In a ‘post’ shared on the social media forum ‘X’ on 30 April by the Consulate, it was said, “Officers and employees of the Indian Consulate General Shanghai under the leadership of Consulate General Prateek Mathur expressed deep condolences in the consulate against the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack.”
26 people were killed in Pahalgam
Similarly, the Indian Consulate at Guangzhu held a condolence meeting to pay tribute to those killed in a terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people were killed in this attack, most of which were tourists. The Guangzhu Consulate on Friday wrote on ‘X’, “This condolence meeting attended more than 60 migrant Indians, consulate officials and their family members and friends of India.” It said that many people also attended condolences by digital medium.
