Newly elected US President Donald Trump has appointed his daughter Tiffany’s father-in-law as advisor on Middle East affairs. Trump on Sunday announced the appointment of Lebanese American businessman Massad Boulos as senior advisor on Arab and Middle East affairs. Boulos is a close friend of Trump. Trump’s daughter is married to Boulos’ son.
Samadhi campaigned for Trump
Boulos supported Trump during the election to woo the Arab American community in Michigan. During the election campaign he held dozens of meetings in areas with large Arab American populations, angered by Democratic President Joe Biden’s support of Israel’s attacks in Gaza and Lebanon.

Massaad Boulos’ son Michael and Tiffany got engaged during Trump’s first term. The engagement took place in the White House Rose Garden, followed by a grand ceremony at the Florida Mar-a-Lago Club in November 2022.

Trump has nominated Pete Hegseth, who has advocated rebuilding a Biblical Jewish temple on the site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites, as Secretary of Defense.
