Relationship between Cambodia and China
The relations between Cambodia and China have become extremely intimate in the last two decades. China has been a major political supporter of the government of Cambodia. Cambodia often favor China on international forums. China is the largest investor and donor in Cambodia. He has invested heavily in several infrastructure projects there. Some analysts believe that Cambodia is playing the role of a ‘partner’ in South East Asia for China, especially to protect China’s interests in Asean.
