Mojammal Babu arrested in a murder case
The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arafatul Rakib today accepted the application of investigating officers to arrest the three in fresh murder cases, The Daily Star reported.
Apart from this, formalities were completed to arrest former Social Welfare Minister Deepu Moni in three murder cases. Editor-in-Chief of a news channel Mojammal Babu was arrested in a murder case.
All the cases related to the deaths during the recent mass protest were registered at the Badda Police Station. Babu was produced in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arfatul Rakib amid tight security.
