Moscow: The war between Russia and Ukraine continues. Meanwhile, Ukraine has carried out deadly attacks on Russia. More than 140 drones fired by Ukraine have targeted many areas including the capital Moscow. The attack on Russia by Ukraine is one of the biggest attacks so far. Russian officials have given information about this. Moscow region governor Andrei Vorobyov said that drones targeted two multi-storey residential buildings in the city of Ramenskoye near Moscow, causing them to catch fire.

Three airports near Moscow had to be closed

Andrei Vorobyov said that one woman was killed and three people were injured in the attack. Vorobyov said that five residential buildings near the damaged buildings have been evacuated. Due to the attack, the authorities have had to temporarily close three airports located near Moscow – Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky. According to Russia’s civil aviation authority Rosaviatsia, a total of 48 flights have been diverted to other airports.

Russian army shot down drone

In Moscow, debris from a drone attack fell on a private home on the outskirts of the city but there were no casualties, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said, adding that he had seen dozens of drones heading toward Moscow that were shot down by the military as they approached the city.
