Ukraine Shaken by Missile Rain on Krivi Reh: The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine took a new form late Friday evening when the Russian army targeted the Ukraine’s President Volodimir Jailonski’s hometown Krivi Rih and attacked the missile. There has been heavy loss of life and property in this attack. Russia claims that it targeted an important meeting which included the commander of the Ukrainian Army and representatives from Western countries. At the same time, Ukraine has confirmed the death of citizens, calling it a unilateral propaganda.
Claim of attack on high level meeting
The Russian Ministry of Defense has described this attack as “accurate operation”. He says that a secret meeting of Ukrainian Army officials and trainers from Western countries was going on in a restaurant. The missile was fired, targeting this meeting. According to the Russian side, 85 Ukrainian soldiers and foreign officials have died in this attack.
Ukraine rejected Russian side
Ukraine has denied the Russian claim that 19 common citizens died and 68 people were injured in this attack, out of which 40 are hospitalized and 17 are in critical condition. However, the Ukraine government has not confirmed any claims related to the death of soldiers or the presence of Western officials.
Homes, vehicles and institutes in the grip
According to the Diniprophevsk region Governor Serhi Lisak, the missile attack was completely damaged by 34 residential buildings, more than 30 vehicles, an educational institution, and the attacking restaurant. Local Raksha Parishad chief Olexander Vilkul said in a response that “the attack will never be forgotten, and Russia will get an answer.”
Ukraine retaliated at energy centers
The Russian Ministry of Defense has claimed that the Ukrainian Army attacked 14 energy installations in Russia, causing damage to power supply in areas such as Bransk, Belgorod, Smolnsk, Liptsk, Voronish, Luhansk and Kharcarson. These attacks have not been confirmed by Ukraine.
Drone attack caused fire in fiber optic factory
In addition, a fire broke out due to a Ukrainian drone attack at the fiber optic plant located in the city of Sararsk, Russian province Mordovia. At the same time, in Belgorod, there has been talk of serious damage to the power supply structure. Russia has described these incidents as a retaliation of Ukraine.
