Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine.
Kiev: Even after 3 years of war with Russia, Ukraine is scared. On the third anniversary of the war, Zelensky is facing the threat of a massive attack from Russia. Therefore, President Volodymyr Zelensky is expecting help from his allies in strengthening air security. He said he would call on his allies to step up their air defenses at a meeting this week in Germany.
Zelensky said the Ramstein Group meeting Thursday at Germany’s Ramstein Air Base will be attended by dozens of partner countries, “including those that are engaged in defense not only against missiles, but also against guided bombs and Russian aviation.” “We will discuss this with them and will continue to try to persuade them,” Ukraine’s President said in his nightly address on Saturday. Our aim is still to strengthen our air defence.
All European countries including America will participate in the meeting
America’s Defense Minister Lloyd J. Austin will participate in this meeting. US President Joe Biden was scheduled to attend the summit in Ramstein in October, but he could not attend due to Hurricane Milton in the US. Zelensky will make this demand at a time when America’s newly elected President Donald Trump will take office on January 20 and will pledge to quickly end the war that has been going on for almost three years. 5th January (AP)
