Mohammad Yunus, Acting of Bangladesh.
Dhaka: Mohammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, has become quite desperate. Yunus has expressed his helplessness about the extradition of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He has said that Dhaka had sent “formal letters” to India, demanding the extradition of the deputed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, but did not get “any official answer” from New Delhi. According to the news of the government news agency ‘BSS’, in an interview to Britain’s channel ‘Sky News’, Younus said that Hasina would be prosecuted for “crime against humanity”.
Let us know that Hasina (77) came to India after a widespread demonstration under the leadership of students in Bangladesh last year and she has been living in India since August 5. Bangladesh’s International Crime Tribunal (ICT) has issued an arrest warrant for “crime and massacre” against Hasina and several former cabinet ministers, advisors and military and civilian officials. Yunus said, “Sue will be prosecuted. Not only against him (Hasina), but also against all the people associated with him. “
Bangladesh has issued arrest warrant against Hasina
Bangladesh has issued two arrest warrants against him. Yunus said that he had sent “formal letters”, but did not get “any official answer” from New Delhi. Last year, India confirmed the ‘Note Verbal’ or diplomatic message from Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi, but avoided commenting on it. ‘Note Verbal’ is a method of diplomatic communication. It is used to explain the status of a country or request any work. Yunus, however, insisted that Hasina would have to face the trial. Hasina, army and police are also accused of taking violent action against protesters in July and August. Hasina has denied the allegations and said that she is being politically tortured. (Language)
