New Delhi: Donald Trump has created a new history by registering a resounding victory in the US presidential elections. PM Modi has congratulated Trump for his historic victory and second term. Also expressed hope of taking India-America relations to greater heights. Let us tell you that Donald Trump and PM Modi are very good friends. The bond between the two world leaders is well known. Trump loves India and Hindus very much. He is also a fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and his charismatic leadership. Trump often takes PM Modi’s name in his speeches and calls him “Goodman”. India-America relations have remained very strong even during Trump’s first term. It is expected to strengthen further.

Professor Abhishek Srivastava of Jawaharlal Nehru International Studies Department says that the chemistry between PM Modi and Donald Trump is well known. Both the leaders are good friends among themselves. Have worked together from 2026 to 20. Now this is the second time Trump and Modi are getting an opportunity to work together. In such a situation, India’s position will become stronger in the world. He said that Trump’s victory is very positive for India. Relations between America and India remained good even during the Biden era. But now unexpected strength can be seen in the relations between the two countries. Being with the most powerful country in the world will further increase India’s stature and influence in the world.

Difficulties for China-Pakistan will increase

The problems of China and Pakistan may increase with the arrival of Trump. In his first term, Trump took action against terrorist activities in Pakistan and banned its terror funding and put it in the gray list. This would be very good from India’s point of view. Although recently India and China have reduced their tension, but now India’s position in front of China will be stronger than before. Because Trump’s policy has been aggressive against India’s two enemies, China and Pakistan. Professor Abhishek Srivastava said that Trump is known for taking tough decisions. He has always maintained good relations with India and has been against terrorism and extremists. In such a situation, his re-election for the US President is a good sign for India. The strengthening of India’s chemistry with America will further strengthen its relations with Russia. Because Trump also has a soft corner towards Putin.

America can shift most of the business from China to India

Experts believe that with Trump’s victory, America will now limit its trade relations with China and could expand it with India. In such a situation, India is expected to get a big benefit. Trump’s attitude towards India is good. He says that we have very good relations with India. Especially with Modi. He is a great leader. Is a great person. Really a great person. He has done a very good job. However, India’s tension regarding tariffs may increase. Because Trump had described India as the country that charges the highest. Similarly, India may also be worried about Trump in visa and immigration matters.

Strategic relations will get strengthened

Trump’s arrival is expected to strengthen India-America strategic relations. Defense and military cooperation have been the cornerstone of India-US relations in recent years. Defense deals like the landmark initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET) and the GE-HAL agreement to manufacture jet engines have been some of the highlights of India-US relations under Joe Biden’s administration. Trump’s stance toward NATO suggests he may take a similarly cautious approach toward military agreements. However, India-US military cooperation may continue due to the shared goal of countering China’s influence in the Indo-Pacific region.

Quad will get strength

The Quad organization is expected to get further strength in Trump’s second term. The Quad is a strong alliance between the US, India, Japan and Australia, which aims to balance China. In such a situation, it is believed that the renewed Trump administration can increase further defense cooperation with the Quad countries with continued arms sales, technology transfer and joint military exercises against China’s dominance. Similarly on the counter-terrorism front, Trump’s “peace through power” approach may align with India’s security objectives. India has been seeking a firm US stance in ending terrorist activities on its borders, especially along the border with Pakistan.

Hope for end of Russia-Ukraine war

Even before becoming President, Donald Trump had said that if he wins the election this time, he will end the Russia-Ukraine war. In such a situation, with his victory there are chances of the Russia-Ukraine war ending. At the same time, Israel is also elated with Trump’s victory. Benjamin Netanyahu hopes to get more US aid from Trump’s victory.

Trump has been speaking in favor of Hindus

Donald Trump has always called himself a lover of Hindus and India. Trump had recently strongly condemned the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. In such a situation, due to Trump’s victory, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the Hindus living around the world. He has said in many public programs that he is a fan of India and Hindus.
