What is social security number
These migrants were legally given social security numbers by the Biden government, unique of nine marks released by the federal government to American citizens, permanent residents and temporarily working residents.
These numbers are used for many official purposes, including an eye on income and contributing to the social security system. But now the Trump administration is effectively depriving them from many financial services by snatching their social security numbers from these immigrants and making them difficult to use banks or other basic services.

Trump’s move is part of the widespread attempt to tighten the immigrants entering the US under the programs created during Biden’s tenure, including more than 900,000 immigrants using the CBP One app. The Homeland Security Department (DHS) on Monday canceled the legal status of the immigrants using the CBP One app, allowing them to live in the US for two years with the Working Authority under the President’s Parole Authority during the Biden era.
