Jake Sullivan India Visit: America’s National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has come to India on a two-day visit. During this, Sullivan said in his address at IIT-Delhi that America is continuously deepening its relations with India. The US NSA said that the US is taking necessary steps to remove obstacles in India-US civil nuclear cooperation. Sullivan said that in the last four years, US-India relations have reached a new level of cooperation. The US NSA also said that India-US cooperation is extremely important for peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

NSA Jake Sullivan met Jaishankar

Earlier on Monday, Jake Sullivan met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in New Delhi. During this, both of them talked about increasing bilateral, regional and global cooperation. Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar has also shared pictures of this meeting on his social media and expressed happiness over the meeting. He wrote in his post that it was a pleasure to meet American NSA Jake Sullivan in Delhi. We discussed further enhancing bilateral, regional and global cooperation. In response to this, Jaishankar wrote that the dialogues that took place between us during the last four years are commendable. I am grateful for his personal contributions, which further strengthened the partnership between India and the United States.

Jake Sullivan’s important tour

Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of America on January 20. Before Trump’s inauguration, the visit of American NSA to India is considered very important. Sullivan and Indian NSA Ajit Doval, in their talks, will discuss the implementation of ICET, which is considered a key initiative to expand India-US strategic ties during Biden’s presidency.
