The tension between India and Pakistan has reached its peak. Pakistan is constantly attacking with drone and missile attacks, which the Indian Army is giving a befitting reply. Meanwhile, the US has spoken to Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. US State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce said that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has insisted on reducing tension during a conversation with the two. This conversation took place at a time when Pakistan attacked various cities of India in the border areas of Jammu, Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan with drones and missiles.
Emphasis on need to reduce stress
US State Department spokesman Tami Bruce said, “This morning Foreign Minister Marco Rubio spoke to Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. Both calls, in the call, the Foreign Minister emphasized the need to reduce tension and called for ending the violence. He expressed US support for direct talks between India and Pakistan and encouraged continuous efforts to improve communication.”

The US Secretary of State supported direct talks between India and Pakistan and talked about establishing better understanding between the two countries through communication. He also assured India that America would stand with India in the fight against terrorism.
Rubio also condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and expressed his condolences to India on the incident. He also reiterated America’s commitment to work with India against this attack.
Stress increased between India and Pakistan
Tension has increased between India and Pakistan in recent times. Pakistan tried to attack several Indian cities with drones and missiles in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan on the night of 7 and 8 May 2025. Pakistan fired eight missiles in areas of RS Pura, Arnia, Samba and Hiranagar in Jammu and Kashmir, but India’s air defense system destroyed all these missiles.
India’s air defense units thwarted these attacks of Pakistan and not reported any citizen’s casualties. After this, the Indian Army retaliated against Pakistan and fired missiles towards it. The Indian Army and the Air Force killed some of Pakistan’s jet aircraft by surface -to -air missiles. These included two Pakistani JF-17 and one F-16 jet.
Pakistani bogged since Operation Sindoor
Let us know that Pakistan has been shocked since Operation Sindoor. Since then, Pakistan has been continuously attacking India with drones and missiles. India has demolished many missiles from Pakistan’s air defense system.
