Vatican City: US Vice President JD Vance had a brief meeting with Pope Francis on Easter Sunday. The Pope recently had pneumonia and is recovering from it. Vance’s convoy entered the Vatican City from a special door and reached near Pope Francis’s residence, while Easter prayers were being held at St. Peters Square at that time.
Pope Francis has greatly cut his responsibilities and charge for getting healthy. He has handed over the work of organizing the prayer to another cardinal. Vatican said the US Vice President met the Pope for some time in Domus Santa Marta to wish Easter. There was recently a sharp noise between the migration and US President Donald Trump’s administration to collectively deport the migrants.
