Baloch fighters opened Pakistan’s poll

Two months after the kidnapping of a 450 passenger passenger train Jaffer Express in Balochistan, Hakkal, a media branch of the Baloch Liberation Army, released a detailed 35-minute video of its operation. The separatist group Baloch Liberation Army, who demanded the separation of Balochistan from Pakistan, hijacked the railway track on March 11. The operation lasted for two days when BLA fighters kidnapped the train and took the passengers hostage, causing panic throughout Pakistan. After the operation, Pakistan claimed that the Baloch rebels suffered heavy losses – a claim that the video denies.

The video gives the first detailed visual description of the operation and it shows BLA fighters carrying out the coordinated withdrawal operations in the train. In this, Baloch rebels are shown planning an operation, receiving war related information and training before attacking the train.

This 30 -minute video also shows how Baloch rebels threw bombs on the track and hijacked the train, in which more than 200 Pakistani officers remained hostage for two days, including women, children and elderly to be safe out of the hijack area, which is contrary to the statements of Pakistan’s army, which described the incident as indiscriminate and cruel.

The video begins with a statement underlining the intention behind the attack by a BLA fighter, “Our struggle and war have come to a point where we have to take important decisions. Our youth are ready to take such steps, because they know that there is no other option other than such decisions. The gun is needed to stop the gun. The sound coming out of the bullet can reach a point.”
