Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Jeddah on a two -day visit on Tuesday on the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. There he was given a grand welcome at the airport. The song ‘Ae Watan …’ echoed in Saudi Arabia as soon as PM Modi reached Jeddah. The song ‘A Watan’ was sung during PM Modi’s grand reception.

As soon as PM Modi’s aircraft reached Saudi’s aircraft, he was specially escorted by the F-15 fighter jets of the Royal Saudi Air Force. He was welcomed in Jeddah with a grand state honor.

Prime Minister Modi’s visit is the first Jeddah Yatra of an Indian Prime Minister in 40 years. PM Modi and Saudi Prince will co-preside in the second meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council established during the Prime Minister’s 2019 visit to strengthen bilateral relations. PM Modi called Saudi Prince “my brother”. India and Saudi Arabia will sign at least six MoUs (MoUs) during Modi’s visit to Jeddah on Tuesday.

Other issues including Haj Kota will discuss

According to sources, PM Modi will also discuss related issues for Indian pilgrims including Haj Kota for Indian pilgrims during his meeting with Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday evening. Both sides are expected to sign agreements in the fields of space, energy, health, science and scientific research, culture and advanced technology. On Wednesday, the Prime Minister will also visit a factory providing employment to Indian workers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the highest civilian honor of Saudi Arabia in 2016. PM Modi will also hold talks with the Indian community in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia live in 27 million Indians and works there.
