Meeting between PM Modi and President Putin.
BRICS conference is being organized in Kazan city of Russia. Many big leaders including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping have come to participate in this meeting. A meeting has also taken place between PM Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin. In this meeting Putin praised India and Prime Minister Modi. What did Vladimir Putin say?
A bilateral meeting was held between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the BRICS conference being held in Kazan. During this, Vladimir Putin said that we have such relations that I think you do not need any translation. Let us tell you that Putin was speaking in Russian language in the meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “We have been in constant touch on the subject of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. As I have said earlier, we believe that problems should be resolved peacefully. We are committed to peace and We fully support the restoration of stability as soon as possible. India is ready to provide all possible support in the times to come.
What was discussed?
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said the Prime Minister’s first formal engagement of the day was a bilateral meeting with President Vladimir Putin, host of the 16th BRICS summit. The two leaders discussed the progress made in bilateral relations since the 22nd annual summit held in Moscow in July this year. The two leaders had a wide-ranging agenda to discuss all bilateral issues including trade, economy, energy, defence, connectivity, education and people-to-people relations.
