Actually, Kilaua Volcano is located in the ‘Hawaii Volconose National Park’ of Big Iceland in Hawaii, USA. Kilaua volcano is considered one of the most active volcanoes in the world. The explosion began on December 23 at the summit of Kilaua. The 12th explosion occurred on Tuesday after which the lava from the volcano went to a height of more than 150 feet.

No threat to residential area

The air volcanic observatory said that the lava started coming out with a mild flow in the morning but it rose in the afternoon. The lava went up to a height of 150 to 165 feet and is expected to go to height. The explosion does not threaten any residential area.

Why do volcanoes burst?

The volcano can be considered like a mountain. A large amount of melted lava accumulates under it. Explain that there is a large amount of geothemal energy within the earth.
