Peshawar: 53 Afghan children who illegally in the country have been sent back to their country through the border of Khyber district in Pakistan. An official has given information about this. The official said that these children had cut the fence on the border to enter Pakistan in search of work. He said that all the children have been handed over to Afghanistan officials.

Incidents are increasing continuously

The official said that the officials posted at the Torkham border post have ensured the return of these Afghan children. The official also informed that incidents of illegal crossing border by Afghan children are increasing and about 700 such efforts are made every day.

Pak government is sending Afghan citizens back

The process of returning of Afghan citizens living illegally in Pakistan is also going on continuously and more than 8 lakh people have been sent back to their country by 20 March. The Government of Pakistan has set a deadline for March 31, under which people living illegally and Afghan citizen card holders will have to leave the country. Under this, 8,74,282 Afghans have been sent back from Pakistan so far. The government has taken this step due to terrorism concerns.
