Kathmandu: 3 Indian people have been arrested by Nepal Police at the airport in Kathmandu. The arrest has been received from Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal. According to the police, these three Indian citizens have been arrested on charges of drug trafficking.
According to Nepal Police News Bulletin, the police arrested Indian citizen Irfan Ahmed Kasaliparmbil Bashir (25) from Kathmandu Airport on Thursday night and recovered more than 10 kg of cannabis from him. He reached Kathmandu from Bangkok from Thai Airways flight. Irfan was arrested when security personnel investigated his belongings and recovered intoxicants in it.

At the same time, in another incident, the police arrested Indian citizens Ram Kumar (31) and Padinhar Chandipurarai JL (35) from the airport on Thursday afternoon. The police recovered more than 26 kg of cannabis from him. Both of them also reached Kathmandu from Bangkok. Ramkumar had more than 11 kg of cannabis while Padinhar had more than 14 kg of hemp.
