Jerusalem: The Israeli army has said that even after the ceasefire deadline with terrorist organization Hizbullah ends on Tuesday, its soldiers will remain in five strategic places in the southern Lebanon. The Lebanese government has expressed displeasure over this. At the same time, there has been uncertainty about the ceasefire in Gaza as there are contradictory things about Israel and America continuing the ceasefire or ending it.
‘Israeli does not trust enemy’
The Israeli army had to withdraw from the buffer zone of southern Lebanon under the agreement and this buffer zone was monitored by the Lebanese Army and the United Nations Peaceful Sainiks. Israeli military spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani said that Israel is committed to “correct and gradually and keeping in mind that our citizens remain, it is committed to return.” That the ceasefire should be respected and “Israeli enemy cannot be trusted.”
