Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy India Visit: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ukraine on 23 August this year at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine since diplomatic relations were established between the two countries in 1992. During his visit, PM Modi invited Ukrainian President Zelensky to visit India. Now it is being told that Zelensky may come to India by the end of this year. Ukraine’s Ambassador to India Oleksandr Polishchuk has given this information.
What did the Ukrainian ambassador say
The Ukrainian ambassador told ANI, “Prime Minister Modi invited my President to visit India and I hope it will happen. Perhaps by the end of this year, we will be happy to see President Zelensky here, although the date has not been decided yet. This will mark another step forward in our bilateral relations. It will provide a great opportunity for both leaders to spend more time discussing the peace process around the world.”
‘PM Modi’s words are respected in the world’
The Ukrainian ambassador recently said, ‘PM Modi’s visit to Ukraine was short due to security concerns. Here the two leaders will have more time for discussions, he said, “I know for sure that President Zelensky is very eager to visit India. He has never been here. This visit will take place at a convenient time for both sides, he said. Polishchuk also said that Prime Minister Modi’s word is respected in the world, it is expected that India will participate at the senior level in the next peace summit.
