New York: The year 2024 was very special in terms of India-America relations. This year many dramatic developments were also seen in America. Presidential elections were announced in America in the year 2024. President Joe Biden abandoned his presidential bid after a poor performance in a nationally televised debate against Republican nominee Donald Trump. Along with this, during the election campaign full of bitterness and allegations and counter-allegations, Trump narrowly escaped two deadly attacks.

Ultimately, Vice President Kamala Harris was made the candidate by the Democratic Party against Trump. But 78-year-old Donald Trump created history by defeating Indian-origin Kamala Harris in the elections.
