Dhaka -based newspaper NewzBD said on Tuesday that the nationwide strike of primary teachers is being seen unevenly in the cities and districts of Bangladesh.

In Dhaka, many teachers in areas like Sutrapur, Damra and Gulshan conducted classes, but avoided administrative work. What is the demand of teachers
The three -point demands of teachers include setting their initial salary in 11th grade on national pay scale, resolving issues related to getting high grade after 10 and 16 years of service and ensuring rapid promotion including promotion of assistant teachers to fill all Principal posts.
Dissatisfaction among government employees is increasing
Not only this, the government employees had locked the main gate of the Bangladesh Secretariat in the capital Dhaka, intensifying the protest against the new service law. The new law provides for easily sacking the authorities for misconduct. This incident is happening in Bangladesh at a time when the Yunus government is facing opposition from all sides. Recently, Army Chief General Waqar Ujan has also increased political mercury by preferring elections in the country.
Interim government is under pressure
