Yamaha Tenere 700 Bike: After gaining global fame, the offroader bike equipped with great performance capabilities is going to be seen in India soon. Adventure riding enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for this bike to come to India. Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha is moving forward with the plan to launch its popular adventure bike Tenere 700 in the Indian market. Work on this project has also started. It is likely that this motorcycle can be launched in 2025. Yamaha Tenere 700 is known as a great adventure bike for riding on hilly areas.

Yamaha Tenere 700 Features

Launched last year in 2023, the Tenere 700 Extreme came equipped with features like titanium footpegs with enduro-style front fender, an aluminum radiator protector and a flat, one-piece seat. This Yamaha bike also includes a 5-inch full-color TFT display, which offers rally-style display with navigation.

Yamaha Tenere 700 Engine

Talking about the engine options included in the Yamaha Tenere 700, this bike is equipped with a powerful 689cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine which is capable of generating 73.4hp of power and 68Nm of torque.

Yamaha Tenere 700 Price

Yamaha Tenere 700 bike can be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 15 lakh. It is not yet decided at what price Yamaha Tenere 700 will be launched in the Indian market. The delay in the launch of Tenere 700 is happening due to the inability of Yamaha India top management to decide its correct price. Currently, companies like BMW Motorrad, Ducati and Triumph sell adventure bikes here, which are imported from Thailand. Due to the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and Thailand, no import duty has to be paid on these. At the same time, import duty will be applicable on Yamaha Tenere 700. Because, this bike will be imported from Japan and brought to India.
