Prayagraj, 30 November (IANS). The poor are benefiting a lot from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana’. Under this scheme, you can get treatment worth Rs 5 lakh annually. Now elderly people above 70 years of age have also been included under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana. The special thing about this scheme is that treatment can be done in any hospital in the country.
Ram, a beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has told IANS that he has benefited from this scheme and has undergone kidney transplant treatment in the hospital under this scheme.
He has told that he had an infection in his kidney. Which was causing a lot of problems. Family members admitted him to Jeevan Jyoti Hospital. It’s been three days here. After the treatment, I am feeling well now. Got very good treatment in the hospital in three days. He is being looked after by doctors.
He has said that if it had not been for the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, perhaps he would never have been able to get treatment. Because, the farmer does not have enough money to get expensive treatment. Through this scheme of Prime Minister Modi, you can get treatment worth up to Rs 5 lakh annually. The good thing about this scheme is that we can get treatment wherever we want.
He said that we have seen many governments in the past. The direct benefit of such a scheme is to the poor. Such a scheme was not brought by the previous governments. Very good treatment is being provided under the Ayushman Bharat scheme under the government of Prime Minister Modi.
Apart from this, the benefits of all the schemes including the schemes run by Prime Minister Modi like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana are being availed. Prime Minister Modi is taking great care of the poor. Giving free ration to the poor. Due to which the poor man is getting two meals a day sitting at home. We have never seen such a scheme before the Modi government. We want to thank Prime Minister Modi for these schemes.
