Muslims from all over the world are preparing for Holy Pilgrimage Haj 2025. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has announced strict punishment for those who come on Haj pilgrimage without permission. The Saudi Arabia administration clearly says that only those people will get entry in Mecca, whose visa will include permission for Haj pilgrimage. The visa holders who came to Saudi Arabia from some other work and reached Mecca without permission. Those who visit Haj without permission will have to pay a fine of 20,000 Saudi riyal i.e. about 4.5 lakh rupees.
The fine also applies to visit visa holders entering maize or surrounding holy sites during this restricted period. Its purpose is to control the crowd in Mecca. Apart from this, efforts are also being made to keep beggars away.
Pakistan issued strict warning
The Saudi Arabia government has issued a strict warning to Pakistan regarding violation of Haj rules. In fact, thousands of people from many countries like Pakistan illegally move to Saudi Arabia. Such people begging around Mecca, Madina and returns after earning a hefty amount of money. In such a situation, this time there is a lot of strictness. Saudi Arabia says that the vehicles of illegal people who bring them to Mecca will also be confiscated, which have been used in the journey. Apart from this, when illegal entry comes to Saudi Arabia, a ban will also be imposed for at least 10 years.
Violation of these rules will be fined-
Penalty for performing Haj without permission- persons performing Haj without permission will have to pay a fine of up to 20,000 Saudi riyal (about 4.5 lakh rupees). Penalty for providing unauthorized Haj facility- Any person who is found helping others in illegally performing Haj, whether it is applied for a visit visa, transporting or providing accommodation, will be fined up to 100,000 riyal (about 22.7 lakh rupees). This fine increases manifold according to each person. Transport and shelter crime- A fine of Rs 22.7 lakh will apply to any person who transport or shelter to violateors, including hotels, apartments or private housing. Exile and entry restrictions- Illegal intruders, whether they are staying there for more than the scheduled time or are residents there, will be deported and an entry into Saudi Arabia for the next 10 years will be banned. Vehicle seizure: Vehicles used for transporters transport can be seized by court order.
When is Haj 2025?
This year Haj is expected to be between June 4 to June 9, 2025, which will depend on the look of the moon. Haj pilgrims have already started departing. The first flight from India left for Haj pilgrims from Lucknow and Hyderabad on 29 April.
