Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday reviewed the situation by talking to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in view of the cloudburst in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir and promised to provide all possible help to them.
After the incident, relief and rescue operations are being carried out rapidly throughout the area. Teams of local administration, NDRF and SDRF are present on the spot and are trying to evacuate the people buried in the debris.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha soon after the accident. He took complete information about the incident and inquired about the progress of relief works. PM Modi assured that the central government will provide all possible help to the victims and necessary resources will be provided immediately.
