Mumbai Police has issued a lookout circular (LoC) against Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra in a fraud of Rs 60 crore. Officials gave this information on Friday.
An official said that the Economic Offenses Branch of the city police has issued an LOC, as couples often travel international trips.
She said that a case was allegedly registered against the actress and her husband in a loan-co-investment deal with a businessman at the Juhu police station on August 14.
The lookout circular is a system that is used to prevent a person from leaving the country or keep an eye on its activities, usually by issuing an alert to immigration and limit control centers.
