Lucknow. On Friday, the first day of Shravan, the beloved month of Devadhidev Lord Shiva, devotees performed Jalabhishek in the pagoda all over Uttar Pradesh, including Varanasi, with the announcement of every Mahadev. During this time security arrangements have been made.
CM Yogi did Rudrabhishek
Chief Minister and Gorakshapeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek and Havan at Gorakhnath Temple. After completing the ritual of Rudrabhishek, he prayed to Lord Bhole Shankar for the welfare of the world and the happiness and prosperity of all the citizens. In Shaktipeeth on the first floor of his residence of the temple, Yogi performed Rudrabhishek with water, milk and seasonal juice after offering many worship materials including Vilva Patra, Durva, Madar Patra, Kamal Pushp to Lord Bholenath.
The scholars of the monastery and the priests performed Rudrabhishek by the Mahamantras of Rudrashtadhyayi of Shukla Yajurveda Samhita. After Rudrabhishek, Gorakshapeethadheeshwar performed a havan amidst Vedic chanting. After the Rudrabhishek rituals completed by law, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wished the people of the state’s health, happy, prosperous and peaceful life.
A huge crowd gathered to see Kashi Vishwanath
According to the report received from Varanasi, devotees had been queuing up late in the night to see Jyotirlinga Kashi Vishwanath. In the temple, the Kavandiyas were eager to perform Jalabhishek of their adorable. The devotees in the queue were seen waiting for their turn, proclaiming Har Har Mahadev Shambhu, Kashi Vishwanath Gange. During this time, police personnel were seen in security arrangements. Through CCTV and drone, chaotic elements were being monitored.
Kanwariya performed Jalabhishek in Lodheshwar Mahadeva
A large number of Kanwadis were performing Jalabhishek of Lord Bholenath in Lodheshwar Mahadeva in Barabanki. These Kanwariya came from Haridwar, Kannauj, Kanpur and other places and came barefoot with Ganga water -filled kavad. In the unique confluence of reverence and devotion, all were worshiping Lord Shiva.
Shiva devotees also reached Lucknow and Kanpur temples
In Lucknow, a huge crowd of devotees was seen in Mankameshwar, Budheshwar and other temples. A long queue of devotees continued till noon at Anandeshwar, Siddheshwar Temple located on the banks of the Ganges in Kanpur. The temples all over the state, including Balrampur, Gonda, Bareilly, Prayagraj and Deoria, continued to echo with the announcement of Har Har Mahadev.
