Around 40 electric vehicles (EVs) of Jitendra Electric caught fire on Monday. The accident happened when the e-scooter was being transported in an EV container from the factory. Twenty scooters were completely gutted in the fire incident. This is the sixth consecutive incident of fire in an e-scooter.
These incidents of fire have raised concerns about safety. In such a situation, government officials said about this incident that they are aware of the incident of fire in the electric scooter of Jitendra EV and will call the company officials to give a report.

Regarding this incident, Jitendra Electric Vehicle said that they have started investigation to find out the cause of the fire. The company said that on April 9, an unfortunate incident happened in a scooter near the gate of our factory. With timely action by our team, the situation was brought under control immediately. We are investigating the cause of the fire and will conclude soon.

In addition, the Ministry of Transport has already asked senior officials of Okinawa and Ola EVs to provide a clean-up and investigation report on the fire incident in their scooters. After this, steps will be taken to prevent such incidents.
